David Calvert - Managing DirectorDavid started the company back in early 2004 after spending over 5 years working as a freelance web designer from home.
A graduate from the University of Northumbria, David also has developed his skills in project management using Prince 2 methodologies, search engine optimisation and internet marketing over the years and now advises the design and development team on seo issues, so that they can be implemented.
He rarely gets involved in the web design process now and spends most of his time meeting new and existing clients, liaising with the Project Manager and playing his guitar - badly!!!
Alan Easton - Technical DirectorAlan has been involved with Boxmodel for many years, both through the management and development of client projects through the lifecycle and sourcing new business opportunities.
Like David, Alan is a graduate from the University of Northumbria, Alan has helped to increase the level of service that we provide to our new and existing clients as we push forward the development of current and innovative range of website design services.
His past projects include Mencap, Gateshead College, the Talented Athlete Scholarship Scheme and Discovery St Lucia.
Andrew Thompson - Senior Web DesignerAndrew is our new senior web designer bringing with him over 8 years experience working for TNL as their Senior Web Designer, working on projects including The Pen Shop (www.penshop.co.uk), Mencap (www.mencap.co.uk), South Tyneside Means Business (www.southtynesidemeansbusiness.co.uk), Gateshead College (www.gateshead.ac.uk), the Royal Society (www.royalsociety.org), the Diana Princess of Wales Memorial Fund (www.theworkcontinues.org) and the Environmental Academy (http://www.environmental-academy.co.uk).
Andrew has also worked on the Play Wales project (www.playwales.org.uk), Play Work Wales e-learning web-site www.playworkwales.org.uk) and was an intricate part of the creative team that worked on the first phase of the Funky Dragon web-site http://www.funkydragon.org.
He has already impressed 4 of our global clients with his inspirational design skills in the 3 short months since starting work for us and he is presently working on a number of projects including Marigot Bay, Bar 2, Local Arrow, No Cocoa, Anglo French Mortgage and Kicked Myself Dating.
When Andrew isn't mocking up a new web-site and logo, he enjoys Socialising, Reading and developing his creative skills.
Ben Warman - Web DesignerA recent multimedia design graduate from Northumbria University and a mere 23 years of age, Ben started to design simple websites at a very early age.
His areas of expertise are Flash, XHTML, CSS, Photoshop and Fireworks.
When he is not designing great looking websites for us, he enjoys Snowboarding and Mountain Biking.
Rob Curry - Web DeveloperRob is our 2nd line Web Developer, who brings over 8 years experience to the table where he has worked on projects like Connexions, Ne-Life and Adidas.
He has extensive web programming knowledge and offers our clients a flexible option if they are looking for a web-site to be built using open source technologies.
When Rob is not programming he enjoys playing Rugby and Travelling.
Mark Noble - Graphic DesignerMark is our new resident Graphic Designer who is a design for print expert. Whether you want a fun/edgy flyer, a corporate brochure to showcase your products/service or some high quality business cards, compliments slips or letterheads, Mark is your man.
